The only thing we have to fear is another four years of George W. Bush

With most of world opinion reviling the presidency of the George W. Bush, along with about half of Americans as well, the fate of this great country and possibly the world is in the hands of a few hundreds thousand undecided voters in these so-called swing states.

Who are these undecided voters? Answer, a group of disengaged Americans who most likely have no knowledge of the issues and will make a decision - that can possibly hold the fate of the world with their vote - on whom they would most prefer to attend a barbeque with .

To these undecided voters you need to engage your brain and think what four more years of this incompetent dangerous president will mean to this great country.

If Vice President Dick Cheney, can make dire predictions if John Kerry is elected president, well than so can I.

Here are my dire predictions if George W. Bush is elected (not reelected since he was not elected in 2000).

The election of the GWB with an election mandate and no reelection to worry about in 2008 (unless of course with abolish the republic and crown him king) will lead this nation to being even further hated around the world and in a constant state of war.

The policies of this president in a second term will lead, perhaps within a year or two, to another terrorist catastrophe which will potentially kill thousands.

Under his next term should there be another terrorist event on US soil, Bush who has grown fond for the taste of blood, will lash out at most likely some Muslim country, probably Iran. Iraq has proven that non complicity in terrorism against the US does not matter to this administration. Simply choose a target, and as Herman Goering said at the Nuremberg Trials:

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."

In a second Bush term, if you someone applies the word terrorist it would be possible that anyone can picked up arrested and held indefinitely without legal representation. An essay such as this could be impossible to be written by an American citizen. It could get to the point that even reading or speaking negatively about the Bush administration will be investigated. Oh, you don't think it can happen here do you, well you’re wrong! It can and it might should there be another major terror attack on our soil. How did Germany, a sophisticated educated society, the land of Beethoven and Bach, cede power the madmen of the third Reich? Easy, inflict fear in the minds of the citizenry, burn down the Reichstag and blame it on "communists" and the rest is history as they say.

A shortage of US troops will result in a draft in next Bush administration. So all you Bush supporters and undecided voters with teenage sons, picture them in army fatigues somewhere in the Middle East during the next Bush administration. If you think you sending them to college will avoid the draft, think again. This draft will be very different form the draft of the 60s. Finish your semester, then report to Fort Bragg.

Iraq will collapse into civil war and an Ayatollah allied with Iran will be the future leader of a fractured divided country similar to what happened in Yugoslavia

Israel will attack Iran's nuclear reactor resulting in retaliation possibly against American troops in Iraq

The Bush doctrine of preventive, presumptive wars will by annexed by another country to serve there political and military ambitions. India vs. Pakistan, North Korea vs. South Korea, etc. Russia has made overtures after the recent terrorist events in Belsan that they will fight their war on terror anywhere they see fit.

Bush has castrated the UN he is right on this point the UN is now a talking shop, thanks to Bush. It will be totally ineffective in preventing another war.

The American economy plagued by debt and the increases in oil prices and global instability will cause the markets, to drop. Consumers burden by debt and decreased property values significantly lowering our standard of living

Our do nothing congress out of fear of being called unpatriotic, will rubber stamp the death certificates of tens of thousand innocent people by acquiescing to Bush’s perpetual wars.

With a conservative republican congress who dominate both houses two or three Supreme Court appoints during the next Bush term and the elevation of Scalia to Chief Justice the Supreme Court will become tantamount a “kangaroo court.”

Packing the court with right wing judges may result in overturning Roe v. Wade. So you Bush supporters and undecided voters with teenage daughters who might get a little too frisky in the back of a Jeep Cherokee and get pregnant, well be prepared nine months latter to take care of the infant while your daughter finishes high school. Those 4:00 am feedings are great for bonding with your new grandchild.
